A Poor Church for the Poor: Romero's Witness to the Joy of the Gospel

This year's Romero Lecture in Glasgow will be given by Fr Martin Maier SJ.

It will take place in the main hall of St Aloysius College on Monday, March 24th (the anniversary of his death) at 7.30pm. There will be time for questions and refreshments after the lecture. The lecture will be chaired by Julian Filochowski, the chair of the Archbishop Romero Trust.

Prior to the lecture there will be a special Mass in St Aloysius Church at 6.30pm.
The celebrant for this Mass will be Fr Tim Curtis SJ.

This lecture is sponsored jointly by The Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund, and by the Centre for Social and Environmental Justice at St Aloysius' College.

The mass will take place on Monday March 24th 2014 at 6.30pm in St Aloysius' Church, 25 Rose Street, Glasgow G3 6RE. Some more information on how to reach the church is here - the church is next door to the Ogilvie Centre.
